PROTECT AND PRESERVE:

Newspapers on microfilm are available to researchers, scholars, and genealogists because of an Ohio History Fund grant from the Ohio History Connection. Additional support was provided by the David Mason Foundation..

The Museum of Ceramics is in possession of nearly 500 hard bound newspapers. Research revealed that approximately sixty of these volumes, were the only existing copies. They were fragile and deteriorating to the point of destruction. The Ohio History Fund financed the microfilming of the volumes to preserve the content. Duplicate copies of the film were created to ensure longevity. MOC and the Ohio History Connection in Columbus will each house two copies of each reel and they will be available to the public for research.
